Our chains (necklaces and bracelets) are Grade 1 commercially pure titanium, and our rings are ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium alloy. Daily Wear: Built for the Elements

Water & Moisture: Can you shower with titanium jewelry? Absolutely. ASHLUME titanium pieces are waterproof. You can confidently wear them in the shower, at the gym, or in the rain without worrying about rust or your skin turning green.
Pools & Oceans: Unlike sterling silver, titanium is highly resistant to saltwater and chlorine. However, to maintain its pristine finish, we recommend giving your jewelry a quick rinse with fresh water after a swim in the ocean or pool to remove any dried salt or chemical residue.
Lotions & Colognes: Everyday skincare products, sunscreens, and colognes won't tarnish or corrode titanium. If they leave a film behind, wash it off with mild soap and water.

How to Clean Your Titanium Jewelry

While titanium won't tarnish, daily wear can cause dirt, oils, or soap scum to build up, which might temporarily dull its surface. Washing that buildup off is simple:

Prepare a Soak: Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of mild dish soap.
Soak and Gently Scrub: Submerge your jewelry for about 5 minutes. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently clean around any links, crevices, or engraved areas.
Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the piece under warm running water to remove all soap residue.
Dry and Polish: Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth or a microfiber towel. Avoid paper towels, which can be slightly abrasive.

Care by Material

Our chains and rings are made from two different types of titanium, so they wear a little differently.

Chains (Grade 1 titanium): Grade 1 is the softest, most flexible titanium grade, so a chain can pick up fine scuffs or kinks sooner than a ring.
